Warranty

Purchasing a laptop is a significant investment, and having a warranty in place provides users with peace of mind, knowing that they are protected against unforeseen defects or malfunctions. At Laptop Mountain, customer satisfaction is a top priority, and to ensure their customers' confidence in their products, Laptop Mountain offers a comprehensive 1-year warranty on all laptops purchased from their platform. Let's take a closer look at what this warranty entails and the one exception that customers need to be aware of.

1-Year Warranty Coverage:

When you purchase a laptop from Laptop Mountain, your device is automatically covered by a 1-year warranty, starting from the date of your original purchase. This warranty applies to all parts of the laptop, ensuring that if any component were to fail due to manufacturing defects or technical issues within the first year, you are entitled to a repair or replacement.

The Exception: Batteries Not Warrantied:

The one exception to the 1-year warranty is the laptop battery. When you receive your laptop, the battery is guaranteed to hold a charge, providing immediate usability out of the box. However, the duration for which the battery will hold a charge cannot be guaranteed due to the natural degradation that occurs with batteries over time and usage. This natural degradation is influenced by factors such as usage patterns, charging habits, and environmental conditions. Consequently, since battery performance is subject to these external variables, Laptop Mountain cannot warrant the longevity or capacity retention of laptop batteries.

How to Initiate a Warranty Repair:

Should any issues arise with your laptop within the warranty period, initiating a warranty repair is a simple and straightforward process. If you encounter any problems with your laptop, send an email to info@laptopmountain.com, with "Warranty Claim" stated in the subject line. In the body of the message, briefly describe the problem you are facing with your laptop, and don't forget to include your order number from the original purchase. Once Laptop Mountain receives your warranty claim, you'll be responded to within 24 hours or less with further instructions on how to proceed with the warranty repair.
