•  Condition:

 REFURBISHED: The laptops originally come from a large business or government environment. When they first come in they are assessed and only the ones in the best condition that look as close to new as possible are then sent on to be refurbished. Any laptops with major dents, dings, or scratches are then used for their parts and not refurbished. 

Refurbishing process: Any foreign stickers are removed and then the whole laptop is blown out with compressed air. The keyboard and cooling fan get hit especially hard with compressed air to get rid of all dust and debris. The laptop is then scrubbed down with a magic eraser to get rid of any dirt or marks. The laptop is then wiped down again with a wet and dry rag. After the laptop receives this treatment it looks very close to new.

Once the laptop looks as close to new as possible it is then ready to be fixed up for the end user. If any part is worn out or not working it will be replaced. For example, if the battery isn't holding a charge it is replaced with a new one. The screens will always be 100% with no scratches or dead pixels. If we see a laptop that has screen issues it is replaced with a new one. Also, cosmetically if there are any covers or keyboard keys that are worn out then they are replaced with new ones. Things like the RAM are upgraded and then a upgraded hard drive or solid state drive is put into the laptop.  All of our laptops come with a 1-year warranty and you have 30-days from the purchase date to return for any reason.

• Operating System: 

Linux Mint is the best operating system for somebody new to Linux because it is laid out a lot like Windows and is very user friendly. Linux Mint is selected as the default operating system to be installed, but if you want a different distribution like Kali, Ubuntu, just select it from the drop down menu and your laptop will ship out with that distribution. There are also many free applications that you can download from word processing, picture editing, and even video editing. Linux is also known to be very safe and secure. There is still a Windows COA attached, however, there is no Windows installed.
